Terms of Use

Keep it simple. These are the ground rules for using The Reflection Hub.

What this platform is

The Reflection Hub is a free learning platform for people working in homelessness services. It's a space to develop reflective practice through evidence-based modules and your own journaling.

What this platform is not

This platform does not:

  • • Provide clinical, medical, or legal advice
  • • Replace professional supervision or formal training
  • • Provide crisis support — if you're in crisis, please contact emergency services or the Samaritans (116 123)
  • • Assess your competence or performance for your employer
  • • Diagnose any condition or recommend treatment

How you can use it

You're welcome to:

  • • Browse and learn from the modules (no account needed)
  • • Create an account and write in your journal
  • • Take screenshots or notes for your own learning
  • • Suggest improvements (email becky.ledwith72@gmail.com)

What not to do

Please don't:

  • • Copy and republish the platform's content without permission
  • • Try to hack, break, or bypass security features
  • • Use the platform to recruit, advertise, or spam other users
  • • Impersonate someone else or create multiple accounts to misuse the platform
  • • Access the platform in ways that harm it or other users

Your journal entries belong to you

Everything you write in your journal is yours. We don't own it, use it, or share it. You can delete it whenever you want.

By using this platform, you confirm that anything you write doesn't infringe anyone else's rights (copyright, privacy, etc.) and that you have the right to share it here.

Your account

When you create an account:

  • • You're responsible for keeping your password secure
  • • You're responsible for anything done from your account
  • • You must be honest about the information you provide

Limits on liability

We make The Reflection Hub with care, but we can't guarantee it will work perfectly all the time. We won't be liable for:

  • • Service interruptions or technical issues
  • • Lost data (though we back up regularly)
  • • Any decisions you make based on the content
  • • Any harm from third-party services or security breaches outside our control

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms significantly, we'll notify you. Continuing to use the platform after changes means you accept the new terms.
